VAGEAD is a provider of high-quality vocational education in a non formal setting. Professionally planned training that is suited to the trainees' ability gives young women and men the opportunity to acquire training and job placement to help support their families. It has grown to include young people from the nearby urban area as well as placements from other NGOs striving to empower women and youth. VAGEAD's training consists of both practical and IT-based courses. Our Association has been founded with the aim of contributing to the improvement of VET policies in Turkey, especially on IT-based VET education. The specific aims of our VAGEAD are:
• To provide IT-based vocational courses to young people especially early school leavers in Van city,
• To encourage the trainees' entrepreneurial spirits,
• To help participants acquire knowledge, skills and competencies on IT and digitalized technologies,
• To support the efforts to contribute to the integration of all disadvantaged young people in the community.
• To support early school leavers to conduct studies in the field of social, cultural, educational, health, sports, science and visual arts that have been developing for few years.
VAGEAD aims to organize vocational training activities such as Visual arts, web design, database programming, visual programming, and 5G related smart technologies. To realize our main aims, 10 IT staff organises different courses on different dates as face to face or virtual types.
